'Mice Type' is slang for tiny text in print design, but it also represents being shy while still being very curious, and we pride ourselves on our small size and ability to make truly unique books.

Mice Type is a Canadian micro-press publisher run by artist and designer Lyndsay Wasko. With the goal of producing beautiful books by undiscovered local creatives, Lyndsay brings over a decade of award-winning design, print production, and illustration experience to Mice Type's products.

We are currently accepting artist and manuscript submissions. Due to a high volume of submissions we cannot respond to every single one. Thank you for your interest and creativity.

  • Mailed orders are often shipped within 2-3 business days of the order being placed. Canadian orders normally arrive 2-3 days after shipped. Please note the 2 day shipping option does not include processing time. We are a small team and our doing our best to get orders shipped as fast as we can. Please be patient with us!  

    International orders may take up to 2 weeks due to customs.

  • Unfortunately there is nothing we can do if your order is lost or stolen. Once we ship an order it is out of our control, though we take great care to ensure that goods are packaged securely and labelled accurately.

    All orders are packaged with care, but sometimes they can get roughed up in transit. If your package is damaged from shipping get in touch and we will see what we can do to make things right.

    If Canada Post is unable to deliver a package for whatever reason and it bounces back to us we will issue a refund for the order. Shipping cost not included.

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges, our apologies for the inconvenience.

    In the rare instance that your product has an unusual defect please contact us and we will do what we can to make it right.
